Check For Updates
Introduction
Section titled “Introduction”The SQL Enlight updates can be one of these two kinds:
- Maintenance updates with bug fixes and small functionality changes. These kinds of update are free and will be available to all who already have purchased the product.
- New application major product versions that will be available for purchase.
Automatic Check for Updates
Section titled “Automatic Check for Updates”If configured SQL Enlight will check periodically for updates and will notify the user when a newer version is available.
Enabling of the Automatic Check for Updatescan be done at the Settings->General Settings->Updatedtab.
Manually Checking for Updates
Section titled “Manually Checking for Updates”To check for any updates are available for download:
1.On the SQL Enlight menu, click Check for Updates.
2.Ensure that you are connected to the Internet.
3.In the Update dialog box, click Check for Updates.
4.If an update is available information about the update is shown and a link Go to download pageis displayed.
5.Clicking the Go to download pagelink will open the update details page in your default Internet browser
